A mobile-first PWA for a small group of friends to plan trips on one shared calendar. Built in a weekend with React, Firebase, and Claude Code.
Inspiration
Everyone wants to plan together, nobody wants to dig it out of the chat.
Planning a trip with friends always seems to dissolve into a group chat: dates buried under memes, "wait, which weekend was it again," and three half-agreed plans at once. I wanted the opposite of a chat thread, one calm shared calendar everyone can see. The warm "Terra" look, earthy greens and cream with soft shapes, was a deliberate push away from sterile productivity tools toward something you actually want to open to plan a trip.
How it works
Sign in, join by invite link, and plan trips together on one shared calendar.
Everyone signs in with Google and joins a group from an invite link, then shares a single calendar. You can add single-day or multi-day trip events, drag events around to reschedule, and see who is coming. Times are stored in UTC and shown in the group's own timezone, so a friend in New York and a friend in Tokyo still agree on which day a Seoul trip lands on. Permissions stay simple: members read, attendees edit their own events, and the group creator can delete. Built with @dnd-kit for drag-and-drop and framer-motion for the transitions, scoped tight on purpose with no notifications, recurring events, or cost-splitting.
